Bobadochi on Alberta Street

Mochi donuts! Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside—made with rice flour and shaped into a ring of eight little dough balls.

Mochi donuts have gained a lot of popularity here in the U.S. over the past few years, and now we’ve got a new spot just down the street from us in NE Portland. But Bobadochi has more than just mochi donuts—they also serve K-dogs (Korean-style corn dogs) and have an extensive drink menu. And guess what? My niece Haylee works there! So, needless to say, I’ve been there quite a few times.

Some of my favorite flavors so far are the Ube Butter Mochi and the Matcha Strawberry Crunch. For drinks, I recommend the Okinawa Brown Sugar Latte.
