When in Canada ...

No donut lover's trip to Canada would be complete without a visit to Tim Hortons! We stopped by the location on Robson Street in Vancouver and tried three different Timbits (that's what they call their donut holes).

My favorite was the Canadian Fireworks Timbit. It was essentially the Birthday Cake Timbit, but it was topped with Pop Rocks. I somehow overlooked that detail in the description, so I got an unexpected surprise when it started popping in my mouth!

I also enjoyed the Lime Cheesecake Timbit. It was filled with a custardy lime cheesecake filling and coated with sweet lime sugar. I'd never had a filled donut hole before, so that was a fun new experience.

Lastly, I tried the Cappuccino Timbit. Compared to the other two, it was just okay—they were definitely more exciting. That said, it paired nicely with the black coffee I ordered to go.
